Wax Moths and why I hate them.

Wax moths are are another pest that plagues bee hives. You will see them in a "live" colony when the colony is week or there is too much space and they can not defend against pests. Most often you will see them in comb that is not on a hive and the comb is stored for use later.

You can use special moth treatments. The are like moth balls. Do NOT use moth balls, they are dangerous to the comb.

Oh the joys of bee keeping!!!!
